This morning we posted the Conference Approval Track Material (CAT), as well as Regional Ideas for WSC consideration and the most-recent report from the Human Resource Panel. This material will be mailed to all of you early next week.
March 15, 2018 is the deadline for the surveys on literature, service material and the Issues Discussion Topics from the 2016 WSC.
Below is an excerpt from survey page:
We’re interested in knowing what the Fellowship believes are priorities for work on new recovery literature and/or service material. If any of these items gain traction—as did the possibilities for a new meditation book and an IP on mental health/mental illness in 2016—the WSC may approve taking next steps. This might involve collecting front-end input through surveys or web meetings in order to shape a project plan for consideration at WSC 2020.
Thank you for your subscription to the eVersion of Reaching Out. In our ongoing effort to improve your newsletter, we have pages in the newsletter that showcase H&I t-shirts and would love for you to send us yours to feature. We continue to look for H&I artwork; many of us are talented and we like to showcase members art.
In an effort to offer experience, strength, and hope to persons leaving from a correctional facility or from inpatient treatment, we are featuring a section “Transitioning to the Outside”. We hope this section helps members move successfully to NA meetings in your community. If you have experience to share on what you did to transition, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be helping another addict.
Members are carrying the message to incarcerated addicts in Brazil, Japan, and throughout Latin America with local translations committees contributing through their efforts of translating Reaching Out that can found at www.na.org/reachingout. Experience our strength and hope in several languages.
It is our pleasure to announce that the January 2018 issue is now online and can be viewed at http://www.na.org/?ID=reaching-out-index. As soon as the next issue becomes available online, you will receive a similar notification.
Please note that if you would like to opt out of this mailing or have any questions you may reply back to this email.

We wanted to let you know that we have posted five PowerPoints with accompanying scripts to help you workshop the Conference Agenda Report. These materials are posted at the CAR videos link from the Conference page: www.na.org/conference. The PowerPoints and scripts summarize main points in the CAR, but are not meant to be a substitute for the CAR. We are working on video versions of the same information and will post them as soon as they are available.
We also want to remind you about the latest improvements to the NA Meeting Finder app. There is now a link to NAWS News and to the daily Just for Today meditation from the front page of the meeting finder app. The app is available in iOS and Android. Check it out.
As always, do not hesitate to contact World Services if you have any questions about the CAR or the app.
